Our Legacy Leaders

John Rudolph

John Rudolph heralded our company from its humble beginning to the company it is today. Born near Toledo, Ohio, he developed a strong work ethic and unquestionable values from the family farm where he grew up.

Those ideals still ripple through our company and our brands today. Family was extremely important to Mr. Rudolph – including his Rudolph Foods family. May we all be so lucky to have so much love in our lives, especially the love he shared with his family. Read more about John.

Mary Rudolph

Mary Rudolph

Mary Rudolph’s passion for teaching followed her from college, where she began teaching Home Economics.

But when the pork industry changed its practices in 1957, putting Rudolph Foods in a challenging situation with no product, Mary showed her determination and tenacity. She worked day and night developing a revolutionary two-step pork rind recipe for Rudolph Foods, which is still proudly used today.

Mary once reflected that the one thing she learned from life is that "hardships can help prepare you for the best things in your life." Her contributions to the pork rind industry, in fact, proved her life’s theory.
